Old-School, the Modern way

Noxilith is a Survival PvE Minecraft Server built on very simple ideas: allow players the freedom to build and manage towns and cities together, just like in the Golden Age of Survival servers, without the tedium or shortcuts of modern Minecraft versions.

Being a passion project and experiment of the sole founder, lnphi, the server is planned to welcome changes and new features as the playerbase expands.

About the Server

Noxilith in its current form began in November of 2025, however the idea of a PvE building-oriented Survival server has been on the founder's chopping block for several years. Ultimately, Noxilith will follow a staged, perpetually updating approach, where new features will be built upon the base as the server's community and their needs grow.

How do I play on Noxilith?

The server utilizes Towny as its main plugin. Towny allows players to create Towns, which are land claims that prevent non-Town members from griefing. It also allows Town owners to add new players to their Town claims.

We have also backported Classic combat akin to that from updates before 1.9.

The world runs on a player-driven economy, adjusted only when needed to keep things fair and stable. Prices, trade, and market flow are mostly in the hands of the community.

Server Rules

Due to the server's infancy, these rules are rudimentary. Staff reserves the right to step in based on negative or hurtful behavior whether or not it's explicitly disallowed in rules - we just want to keep things healthy and fun, and like everybody, we are only human.

1. Keep the server a safe, inclusive space. No racism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other form of bigotry is allowed. This includes extreme and edgy humor - what's funny to you might be hurtful to others. Don't attack, insult or otherwise disrespect others.
2. No hacking, exploits or any mods that give an advantage over others. This is a Vanilla Survival server, and everyone should be on equal playing field. Do not X-Ray, dupe, attempt flying, or otherwise try to gain advantage. Quality of Life mods such as Optifine/Sodium, Minimaps and Texture Packs are allowed, however they should not be used to gain an advantage over vanilla players. If you are unsure if the mods you use break this rule, ask a Staff member.
3. No NSFW, NSFL or other extreme content. While the server caters to a mature audience, you are not allowed to post or link to NSFW, NSFL or otherwise extreme content. This includes pornography, gore, sexual themes, overly negative/threatening material or disgusting/gross content. Mature conversations should only take place in private messages.
4. No Griefing, Stealing, Altering or Intentional Destruction. We are focused on creating, not destroying. Don't touch what's not yours, unless given permission. This includes unclaimed or abandoned bases as well. There are a multitude of other spaces to express your destructive side on, this is not one of them. Do not spoil the fun to others.
5. Don't be an a**hole. This is a general rule, and could be seen as a combination of all the other rules. Treat others like the human beings they are, and like you yourself wish to be treated.

While not a hard requirement, we'd prefer if you were 16+.

These are the features that are planned on for the server. They can always change based on the Staff's decisions and the community's feedback.
